NEW YORK-DJ-Savvysoft, a New York City-based over-the-counter derivatives software firm, has hired Stanley Choung as a director of product development.
Choung was hired from Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where he was a vice president in equity derivatives trading. Prior to trading, Choung worked in the firm’s information technology division.
"I’m ecstatic to have him. It’s hard to find someone with both IT and trading experience form a major firm," said Rich Tanenbaum, partner and founder of Savvysoft.
